Position summary:
The Zaxby’s Assistant Manager provides excellent leadership and motivation to ensure that all team members are guest-focused, team-focused, and quality-focused. At Zaxby’s our mission is: “Consistently creates encore experiences that enrich lives, one person at a time”. The Assistant Manager will set the tone for this mission to be lived out each day. He or she will exercise knowledge of restaurant operations, manage staff resources, provide counsel, develop and coach staff and ensure adherence to our operating standards. He or she will be instrumental in building and maintaining a healthy culture, where people thrive and grow in a positive workplace environment.

Shifts:

**Weekends are required

• 11am-8pm
• Noon-9pm

Responsibilities include:

• Managing 6-11 crew members per shift.
• Preparing Employee Schedules.
• Works to ensure Labor & Drive Time goals are met and maintained.
• Conducting Inventory counts daily/weekly.
• Responsible for setting a positive atmosphere, creating a culture where people want to participate and develop together in a healthy structure.
• Oversees and ensures the daily execution of the Zaxby’s Mission Statement and Core Values.
• Complies with company policies, practices and procedures and communicates all changes to managers and team members.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1+ years of restaurant management experience in a quick service or casual dining environment.
• Completion of a high school education or equivalent.
• Valid Class C license.
• 5 panel drug screen.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
