Position Details:
Do you have a passion for mentoring and working with refuguee youth ? Do you have direct care experience in a mental health field or working with vulnerable youth & adults?
Can you work night shift hours of 11:00 PM. - 7:30AM. ?
We are in need of a youth specialist to join our team! Welcome to Samaritas Nation!
The program also helps these youth adjust to the customs and culture of the United States while pursuing their goals of education, English-language learning, and independence. Your primary role is to provide direct interaction and supervision of youth in a residential setting. You will be responsible for care and safety of the youth through assigned shifts. Working together with other youth workers, supervisors, clinicians, and case managers to maintain a safe and healthy environment for youth.
Hourly Wage $20.00 / Spanish Bilingual $22.00
Night Shift 11:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. . . Some weekends and holidays are required.

Job Summary
Provides direct supervision of youth in a residential setting.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish a family-like environment in the residence that includes modeling supporting behaviors and expectations
- Assist youth with participating in daily schedule and routine, including but not limited to meal preparation, medication administration, developing independent skills, and preparing and organizing activities
- Provide transportation for youth to appointments according to outlined safety rules
- Monitor overnight activity at the home
Job Qualifications Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred
- Ability to learn de-escalation techniques and become CPR and first aid certified
Experience
- Direct care experience in a mental health field or working with vulnerable adults preferred
Additional Work Requirements
- Valid unrestricted driver's license with good driving record, proof of current registration and automobile insurance required; reliable personal transportation suitable for safely transporting persons served required
