Position: Mentoring Recruitment Specialist Salary: $19.00 hour

About the Job

The Mentoring Recruitment Specialist will develop and organize activities that support mentor match engagement. They will provide ongoing match support training to program and maintain case load of 10-15 mentor/mentee matches.

Some of the exciting tasks you will do as a Therapist include but are not limited to:

• communicating with program stakeholders, including volunteers, parents/guardians, schools, treatment facilities or residential programs where youth reside, as well as agency partners
• developing a curriculum and implementing trainings for mentors
• organizing and participating in group events for mentors and mentees
• assisting with mentor screening, intake, onboarding, orientation, and trainings
• identifying community-based resources for activities to enhance mentor pair engagement
• outreach to and networking with youth, families, communities, schools, and other community agencies and participating in the YMCA and branch special events

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Three or more years’ experience working with children and adults in an education/recreation/social services environment
• Experience with volunteer and case management
