Roberts Oxygen a leading distributor of industrial, medical, and specialty gases and related equipment has the position for you. We are actively seeking a dedicated and committed Yard and Warehousing Operator for our Gaithersburg, MD industrial plantlocation.

Are you a Match?

The ideal Yard and Warehousing Operator candidate will have the ability to provide excellent customer service by practicing dependable and quality work designed to enhance and improve final product quality and safe use. Responsibilities and requirements will include but are not limited to:

• Handles, maneuvers, loads, unloads, organizes, packages, and manages inventories of supplies, goods, high pressure and cryogenic cylinders, on trucks, trailers, and in and around the warehouse, plant and outdoor yard.
• Loading and unloading of trailers and trucks.
• Operation and use of mechanical loading equipment and forklifts.
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of all related mechanical equipment and work area.
• Commit to high performance through outstanding attendance and overall dependable work habits.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal regulations and laws.
• Experience working in an industrial production environment preferred.
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Goal oriented, well organized and attentive to details.
• Ability to lift 100lbs.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Excellent driving record and if selected, ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
