Workers Compensation Applicant firm with 40+ employees is seeking a full time Legal Assistant to join our firm. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, upbeat and is Bilingual (English/Spanish). The right candidate should have a minimum of 1 - 2 years experience in Workers Compensation (Applicant side preferred). Our firm prides itself in obtaining the best results for our clients and we are looking for a like-minded individual to join our team. Great Customer Service and Bilingual Skills is a must!

The Legal Assistant will be responsible for providing ongoing legal support to one specific attorney and Case Administrator, and assist with a variety of tasks including answering phones, scheduling appointments and depositions, and managing correspondence. The successful candidate will also be an integral part of our firm, supporting and assisting their team with processing legal documents, and generally working together to ensure a positive environment for all.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule client appointments, depositions and hearings.
• Prepare deposition and hearing notices.
• Assist with legal correspondence,.
• Assist with incoming client calls.
• File & serve medical reports and documents.
• E-Filing on EAMS (will train).
• Amend Applications.
• Panel QME's
• Prepare change of addresses and mileage reimbursements.
• Send out medical bills to Insurance Companies.
• Assist with administrative duties as necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
