About the role:

Safety is our top priority! In the wood shop, you are to work as a team, and work together to get the job done. Do what is asked, and work is a safe and competent manner. For safety reasons No cell phones out unless it is break, lunch. If it is an emergency make sure all Power Tools are shut down properly 1st and then step out of the shop to take the call. This is a safety issue as being on your phone is distracting. Rate of pay is based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• · Off bearing on all equipment
• · Train on how to operate all equipment proficiently
• · Assort hardwood per job and learn species of material
• · Operate a forklift
• · Operate hand routers and palm sanders
• · Help clean up every evening
• · Help maintain all equipment
• · Must wear proper safety equipment

Candidate requirements:

• · Proficient with basic math skills
• · Ability to read a tape measure
• · Time Management
• · Ability to work with others and as part of a team
• · Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• · Able to be on your feet for long periods of time
• Attention to Detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,050.00 - $42,000.00 per year
