Job description
SHA, Inc. is one of Michigan's leading contract manufacturers of prototype PCBs and is looking for a wire harness technician to join our team. The candidate will be working with wire harnesses, test boxes, and various components to assemble them. The skills necessary include (but are not limited to) cutting and stripping wires, crimping terminals, soldering wires, reading schematics, and performing functional testing on assemblies.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work from 7:30 am-3:30 pm Monday through Friday with overtime as needed
- Must have reliable transportation
- Be able to work independently as well as with others to complete jobs on time
- Be able to work under pressure to complete quick-turnaround jobs
- Must possess ability to sit for extended periods of time performing repetitive manual tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to read wiring schematics
- Ability to use a soldering iron
- Previous experience with harness assemblies or custom wiring
