Welders/Fabricators (Bentonville)

Center Point Contractors currently has opening for SMAW field welders

All applicants must have the following:

- Valid Driver License
- Reliable Transportation
- Dependable Work Ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug testing.

The successful candidate will have the following:

- Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and 100 pounds when required
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work in extreme weather conditions
- Must have stick welding experience in a fabrication shop and/or field work
- If you are considered for this position, you will be required to demonstrate your welding skill
- Must be able to work toward 3G AWS welding certification
- Knowledge of and ability to operate shop and/or field equipment is a big plus
- Knowledge of blue prints and weld symbols is a big plus
- Experience with structural steel and CNC machines is a plus
- TIG welding experience is a plus

Applicant must have the ability to:

- Safely operate and maintain assigned equipment and tools.
- Meet the physical requirements necessary to safely and effectively perform assigned duties.
- Requires the mobility to perform duties.
- May require occasional night and/or weekend work.
- A very rare trip out of town may require an overnight stay.
