Job Summary:

The primary objective of the Welder position is to fabricate plastic assemblies according to print specifications in a timely manner to meet customer requirements and the production schedule. This includes fabricating standard parts, as well as custom parts, building a complete product, and inspecting the work performed to meet internal and external requirements.

Job Duties:

· Apply job skills and established Company policies, methods, and procedures to complete a variety of tasks

· Fabricate plastic piece parts, turntables, cabinets, and fusion assemblies, and perform solvent welding and other tasks as assigned

· Perform secondary machining operations

· Inspect own work and the work of others

· Maintain external customer quality expectations

· Participate as an active team member

· Willing to cross-train as required (i.e. machining and assembly areas)

· Set-up and/or follow team schedules to ensure on-time deliveries, working closely with production scheduler

· Take initiative to help prioritize workflow to ensure quality and on time delivery

· Willing to work overtime when required to support customer demand

· Clean and maintain work areas

· Train and assist others as required

· Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

· Adhere to all Company policies

· Know, understand, and support ATG’s Quality Policy and Quality Objectives and understand how this position affects the outcome of both

· Able to work independently with minimal instruction and supervision; effectively plan, organize and execute own activities

· Flexible and adaptable by nature; works well under pressure and within changing environments

· Able to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, vendors and colleagues

· High school diploma or its equivalent

· 1+ years of relevant experience

· Knowledge of hazards associated with duties

· Ability to wear personal protective equipment necessary for duties performed

· Know how to activate emergency response procedures and equipment if needed

· Analytical and problem-solving mindset

· Pro-active, decisive, objective and flexible

· Ability to weld in all positions and all types of plastic materials

· Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted and over 50 pounds with assistance

· Able to work well with others and take direction and feedback

· Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets

· Ability to read engineering documents and drawings without assistance
