Web Developer

Senior Living Hiring is seeking an individual who is capable of producing high-quality work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The desired Web Developer has a keen eye for creating consumer experiences that will drive traffic, engagement and leads to our communities. With more than 150 websites targeting consumers seeking senior living solutions, this individual will have experience with WordPress and an array of applications, widgets, and plug-in’s that render well across all browsers and devices. In conjunction with other web team members, this team member will:

• Support design, development, implementation, updates, management, administration and maintenance of all websites
• Audit and update web content and functionality
• Support domain purchases/renewals, compatibility, diagnostics and resolution of any website issues
• Collect, analyze and report on web analytics and metrics, making recommendations on opportunities to improve features and functionality

The ideal Web Developer will have a proactive work ethic, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle new tasks no matter how big or small. We are looking for someone with the following qualities:

• Curious, innovative, out-of-the-box creator
• Experience with web development, web design, content management and analytics.
• Proficiency in supporting SEO, digital initiatives and customer journey
• Standard knowledge of typical coding languages such as PHP, CSS, jQuery, HTML, JavaScript
• Has a strong desire to build and master technical, data, and performance elements of digital platforms
• Has exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Works well in a collaborative setting, yet is able to lead projects independently
• Is able to problem-solve but is not afraid of asking questions
