Merits Health Products, Inc. is the U.S. headquarters for a medical mobility device manufacturer, and we are seeking an experienced Warehouse Technician for our Pilot Stairlift Division. This position is responsible for loading and unloading truck containers; verification of shipment counts and serial numbers; stocking and shelving of product; pallet maintenance, picking and packing of product for shipment; and overall organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Pick and stage orders to be shipped
• Identify and inform shipping clerks of any discrepancies, errors and back-orders
• Maintain proper paperwork including customer orders, pull sheets, informational and warranty documents
• Maintain tools to complete the necessary tasks
• Maintain safety and OSHA guidelines
• Safe operation of forklift and other equipment
• Maintain order and cleanliness of the warehouse and lots
• Work overtime if needed
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse operations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid state driver’s license
• Completion of Forklift Driver Training Course and Certification

Physical Demands:

• Duties are performed in a warehouse environment
• Contact with internal and external customers and vendors
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, carry, climb and lift 50 lbs
• May be exposed to heat and cold and adverse weather conditions
