A SYNLawn Warehouse Specialist is a professional who specializes in the storage, distribution, and maintenance of artificial grass products. They are responsible for ensuring that the artificial grass products in the warehouse are in good condition, properly stored, and readily available for shipment to customers. They may also be responsible for maintaining equipment and repairs if needed. levels and keeping track of product movement within the warehouse. This may include receiving and processing orders, preparing and packing products for shipment, and coordinating with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers. Additionally, we be needed to fix and maintain equipment and vehicles used by crews and staff.

Primary Job Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities:

• Coordinate with Project Manager and Foreman to ensure all materials are in-stock, prepped and loaded as required for each up-and-coming project.
• Operate a forklift with an extension to pick up rolls of turf and standard moving of materials with forklift.
• Operate heavy equipment
• Lift 80lbs
• Prepare, Load and unload materials to and from the designated storage areas, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles
• Fix small engines on crew equipment
• Oil Changes on Trucks
• Stack or pile materials, such as infill, pavers, concrete, stone slabs, glue and nails
• Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication, and transportation of goods
• Verify incoming and outgoing materials against paperwork. Accuracy is important
• Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported
• Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same
• Maintain the condition of the work area (i.e., free of trash, products in the correct location, etc.).
• Ability to work on concrete floor for 8+ hours
• Ability to squat, kneel, bend, twist, climb and pull materials as needed
• Good mechanical skills and can repair equipment if required
• Count inventory weekly to ensure stock levels are appropriate and data reporting
• Assist with vehicle maintenance
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Must pass work eligibility requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to operate a forklift
• Interact with team in a professional manner

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
