Interested in working in a Warehouse Distribution Center? Adecco is hiring immediately for open positions (DC Associates) to work at a client location in Enfield, CT. Previous warehouse experience preferred. These positions are Mon-Fri 1 st Shift 6a-2:30p or 2 nd Shift 3p-11:30p but do require training on day shift (about 1 week or so) 8a-3:30p. Pay rate is $17/hr (1 st Shift) and $17.50/hr (2 nd Shift). These positions require availability to work overtime/weekends/holidays as needed. Appy Now if you meet the requirements below:
DC Associate:
Has overall responsibility for receiving and moving materials within warehouse. Verifies the inventory quantity and assists in inventory level maintenance. Maintains complete paperwork. Operates warehouse equipment in a safe manner.
Requirements-

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)/Home School equivalency
• Being able to work on various shifts, as well as overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using
• whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Having prior warehouse training or experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities-

• Marks pallets with identifying store information
• Uses lift equipment as needed once training and certification are completed
• Pick and stage parts for store replenishment
• Uses a hand-held radio frequency device
• Is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms
• Is frequently required to stop, kneel and crouch
• Is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, and
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Work environment-

• Is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts
• Is occasionally exposed to high places, fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually high (loud)
