Position: Critical Parts Specialist

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Reports to: Traffic Supervisor

Relay Express is a 24/7 Logistical Solutions Provider headquartered in Ohio. This position serves as the point of contact in our Columbus warehouse for our contracted drivers, dispatchers, and vendors during the afternoon during the day and maintains inbound and outbound freight flow daily.

Schedule:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday from 10:00 AM to 7:00PM 30-minute break for lunch

Compensation:

• $17-$18/ hour based on experience
• Participation in the Company’s Quarterly Performance Bonus up to 8% of Quarterly earnings.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Have a complete understanding of Relay Express' warehousing/logistics, services programs, customers and service parameter definitions.
• Responsible for keeping the warehouse looking professional, clean, safe, and organized.
• Sign for and complete all incoming and outbound deliveries according to customer requirements daily.
• Be able to provide detailed information on each shipment coming into and being shipped out of the warehouse.
• Organize incoming orders per customer, prepare each shipment for driver pickup.
• Make deliveries as needed up to 50% of your shift.
• Maintain professional attire, language, and business demeanor in all dealings with customers, employees, and vendors.
• Forklift certified.
• Adhere to Relay Express’ Social Covenant

Experience and skill requirements:

• Professional image and communication skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs.
• Ability to work in an unsupervised manner
• Ability to adapt to changing customer needs and driver availability.
• Serve as a liaison between customers, contractors, and the operations team.
