Warehouse Associate/Parts Driver

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Position Overview:

The Warehouse Associate/Parts Driver will ensure the efficient operation of the store by accurately and safely receiving, processing, and storing incoming products, as well as, delivering these products to customers in a timely manner. Must be efficient, orderly, and have attention to detail and safety. Must be able to manage time well and multi-task all in compliance with company safe practices.

Salary : $20-$24.00 per hour

Job Description:

• Receives products into the computer system and stores them in a timely manner.
• Maintains accurate, clean, and orderly warehouse and store show room.
• Inspects products of shortages, damages and prepares appropriate documentation.
• Prepares, packs, and scans (as appropriate), and stages products for inter-store transfer and customer pick-up and delivery in accordance with established standards (e.g. hazardous materials). Ensures that packaging is sufficient to avoid damage.
• Processes documentation necessary to ship inter-store transfers and customer orders.
• Loads delivery vehicles and assists customers with will call pickups.
• Operates hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers, and other equipment safely and in accordance with organizational procedures.
• Load vehicles and coordinate with Branch Manager on efficient and priority deliveries for each day
• Deliver material safely to customer site and unloads to customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED required
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Experience driving a forklift preferred
• Experience with computer or RF Scanners preferred
• Clean driving record and Valid Driver’s License

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift, carry, and load up to 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the day; balance on ladders, portable stairs and like equipment; walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl; and reach, push, pull and manipulate. The employee is also frequently required to lift in excess of 100 pounds with mechanical assistance or the assistance of coworkers.

Work Environment: Most work is performed in a warehouse environment without air conditioning, which may include hot and cold temperatures, dust, dirt, and noise.
