Our client is looking to add a Volunteer Coordinator to their team in Oak Brook, IL! In this role, you will support a ‘volunteer days’ partnership as a member of the core planning team. The core team is the project driver and staff members are responsible for exploring and responding to project leads, serving as the point person for assigned territories, and communicating extensively with company and partner leads on project coordination.

Volunteer Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Serve as a project coordinator and communication lead for assigned geographic areas: answer questions from project email box, phone calls, and registration inquiries, support partner site captains and hosts, ensure post-project reports are complete.
• Event management: Coordinate operational logistics with partner site captains or host venue to assess project capacity, duration, project preparation, and on-site event flow.
• Extract, compile, and manipulate quantitative data from registration system and past projects for registration updates, partnership reports, presentations, and grant maintenance.
• Collaborate with marketing team on landing page, social media posts, marketing collateral, and other partner engagement opportunities.
• Participate in weekly project updates via conference calls with the internal team and partner.

Volunteer Coordinator Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years project management or event management experience required.
• Thrive in a fast-paced work environment, and be capable of
  juggling multiple, simultaneous projects.
• Bachelors degree.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook.

Compensation:
$19/hr - $21/hr
