Job Description Summary
The successful candidate will build a scholarship agenda, teach graduate courses, advise students, and serve on department, school, university, and professional committees. The candidate will teach in a higher education program with a strong emphasis on social justice. Depending on the selected candidate’s area(s) of expertise, teaching in other programs within the department may also be expected. This position is for one academic year with the potential for renewal.
Minimum Qualifications
For full consideration, applicants: must possess a doctoral degree by August 15, 2023; have a strong professional identity; a record of scholarly activity or the potential to build a strong record of scholarship; and have experience in at least two of the following areas: higher education governance, higher education public policy, student affairs administration, the culture of higher education, college student development, and/or diversity in higher education.

School/College & Department/Program Summary
The Department of Organizational Leadership is situated within the School of Education and Human Services (SEHS) and was created in 2013 as a merger of the departments of Human Resource Development and Educational Leadership. SEHS is recognized for its successful recruiting of diverse faculty and its strong partnerships with local school districts, businesses, non-profit organizations, and community agencies.
