SUMMARY:

The Patriots Video Content Associate will support the Kraft Sports & Entertainment video production team in creating high-quality video content. The ideal candidate will have basic video editing and videography skills, including event coverage and field audio capture. The candidate should be passionate about video production and eager to learn new skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Shoot and edit event coverage footage including interviews, b-roll, and sound bites
• Operate video equipment such as cameras, sound equipment, and lighting gear
• Assist in the pre-production planning and logistics for video shoots and events
• Setting up and breaking down equipment for studio or field production
• Ability to edit basic pieces such as community event recaps or content from player media availability for social media and other digital channels
• Ensure that all video content meets our organization's brand standards and guidelines
• Collaborate with the video production team to develop creative ideas and concepts for video projects
• Assist in the management and organization of video files and footage
• Search for and gather footage in the KS&E Content archive system
• Assemble news melts from community events for external organizations
• Stay current with the latest video production trends and technologies
• Follow project timelines and adhere to deadlines
• Assist the production team with various tasks
• Special projects and assignments as business dictates

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Four years minimum of non-linear editing and shooting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in film/media production preferred
• Experience with event coverage, field audio, and event recap video editing
• Experience in video production for social and digital media platforms
• Basic knowledge of videography equipment and techniques.
• Must be able to operate professional grade cameras such as Sony FX and F series
• Basic understanding of lighting and audio
• Ability to work with raw footage and make editorial decisions to create a cohesive story
• Experience in color grading and sound mixing
• Familiarity with exporting and delivering final video products
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize and address multiple projects with varying timelines
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of organization
• Ability to take direction and incorporate feedback into video projects
• Ability to follow a storyboard or shot list and work within a given time frame
• Ability to learn new techniques and take constructive feedback to improve their skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to lift 25 pounds over head (camera equipment)
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to handle or feel
