LOOKING FOR A FT, HARDWORKING VETERINARY RECEPTIONIST TO JOIN OUR FAST PACED TEAM.

**MINIMUM 1 YEAR RECEPTIONIST EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**

AACH currently has 1 position available for an outgoing, organized, efficient, self-starter with an enthusiasm for veterinary healthcare. A minimum of one years prior experience in reception is required. You must enjoy working with animals and their owners and need to be familiar with computers using Windows based applications. (knowledge of Avimark is a plus).

We are a busy, companion animal hospital with boarding in Ahwatukee, employing 2 full time Doctors, with a 3rd starting in June, as well as supporting staff.

Primary responsibilities of our Veterinary Receptionists include, but is not limited to:

• Answering multiple phone lines
• Greeting clients either in person and/or on the telephone
• Answering client questions, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out and fee collection, note taking for veterinarians
• Promoting a positive image of the hospital
• Responsible for making sure the office is clean and smelling fresh

Skills/Requirements

• A minimum of one years’ experience as a receptionist is required
• Friendly, outgoing personality
• Ability to remain calm and professional, including during a crisis
• Basic knowledge of veterinary procedures and medications

Our hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 11:00am. We are closed on Sunday. You will be required to work some Saturdays after introduction period.
