A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A VETERINARY HOSPITAL CUSTOMER CARE SPECIALIST / RECEPTIONIST
nIn this administrative position, you are the friendly face of our clinic! You love animals and people, and you genuinely enjoy forming relationships with our clients and their pets. With customer service at the forefront of everything you do, you warmly greet both humans and furry friends as they come through the door, immediately putting them at ease. Competent and efficient, you handle important tasks such as checking clients in, checking clients out, and scheduling appointments. When checking clients in, you thoroughly review each patient's medical history as well as the reason for their visit. After each appointment, you efficiently process payments and fill medications.
nWhen fielding phone calls, you communicate clearly and tactfully as you are the true mediator between our clients and the doctors. You schedule appointments under the supervision of our veterinarians as they provide you with crucial information and directives pertaining to patient care. Our doctors and technicians appreciate your positive nature and your willingness to lend a helping hand. You enjoy interacting with our clients and patients each day, and you feel great knowing that you play an important role in the success of our clinic!
