AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF VETERINARY PRACTICE EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

We are looking for a well rounded individual with a friendly upbeat personality. Must be capable of working in a fast paced environment. Job will require standing long periods of time with bending and kneeling. Must be able to lift and hold at least 50lbs on a regular basis.

Assistant/ Tech Position:

§ Assisting assigned doctor with exams and surgeries

§ Calling owners with results and updates on patients

§ Prepping and cleaning up after surgery or exam (i.e. exam tables, surgery packs, rooms, sink etc..)

§ Preparing lab samples for send out

§ Drawing up vaccines, preforming heartworm tests, fecals, blood draws for wellness panels, Placing I.V. catheters etc..

Pay is based on experience. Registered Techs- Pay can be negotiated.

Full time position 8am -6pm 4 days a week. No weekends
