So, do you want to join our dedicated, family-oriented team? Well, we are seeking a full-time or a part-time highly motivated, detail oriented individual who loves animals and has a knack for client relations!

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Clean and stock exam rooms and treatment areas

-Prep surgical materials and assist patients prior, during, and post-surgery

-Some management of purchasing and organizing inventory

-Perform clinical laboratory procedures

-Administer and process radiographs

-Take and notate patients’ vital signs, take blood samples, vaccinate animals

-Admit and discharge patients; review medical records and enter charges

-Clean cages and prep food/water for boarding patients

-Drug calculation, fill/refill prescriptions

-Call-backs, manage medical phone calls

-Prepare tissue samples

-Wound dressing

-Collect and analyze test specimens

-Restrain and lift animals-General assistance to veterinarian

Other professional skills must include:

-Genuine team-work attitude

-Rapid memorization

-Communicate effectively and convey information professionally

-Maximize in time management

Requirements: Candidates must have considerable employment experience in a veterinary hospital specifically as a Veterinary Technician, and certification is preferred (CVT, LVT, or RVT). Candidates must be available to work both morning (6:30a-3p) or afternoon (9-6p) shifts, and weekend (Sat, Sun) shifts on rotation. .

Additional Information:

Preferred consideration may be given to candidates who have AVImark software familiarity.
