Spay and Neuter Syracuse is looking for a part-time veterinary assistant/receptionist to join their team!

It is the mission of the technician’s assistant to ensure that the office staff, technician, and veterinarian are assisted during check-in, examination, surgery, recovery, and check-out for 15-30 animals per clinic day. Professional appearance, customer service, and kind treatment of clients’ animals are paramount. It is the veterinary assistant's responsibility to ensure the sterility and cleanliness of clinic equipment, instruments, and the facility as a whole.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.20 - $15.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All clients and staff are required to wear masks at all times in the building. We limit the number of clients that are allowed in the building at one time. We sanitize high-touch spaces every day.

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Veterinary assistant: 2 years (Preferred)
