Title – Vehicle Validation Engineer

Location – Chelsea, Michigan, USA (Onsite only)

Full time / Contract

Job Description:

• 2+ years of experience in automotive system validation, preferably on ECM and TCM modules

• Experience on working on vehicle, test cells, dyno environment preferred

• Knowledge of automotive protocols such as CAN, LIN and OBD-II

• Experience developing test procedures for CARB OBD II requirements and validation of tests in vehicle environment

• Exposure to diagnostic fault testing including communication and electrical faulting for for ECM and TCM modules

• Perform vehicle testing with latest software against vehicle level test at customer location

• Create defects for issues identified during the testing and assign to respective teams

• Create progress report of the activity completion at regular intervals to present to program team

• Familiarity with using Scan tool, Breakout box, harnessing experience and usin lab instruments such as DSO, Programmable Waveform Generator required

• Ideal candidate should be electrical or mechanical engineer

Salary: $100,531.38 - $110,515.81 per year
