VALVE TECHNICIAN - EMERSON IMPACT PARTNER
Location: Swedesboro, NJ
Type of Employment: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced valve technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing maintenance, repair, and installation services on Fisher valves for our clients. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that Fisher valves operate efficiently and safely, helping to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance on Fisher valves, including inspection, cleaning, and replacement of parts, as needed.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with Fisher valves and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
- Install new Fisher valves, ensuring they meet client requirements and specifications.
- Provide on-site technical support to clients, answering questions and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure timely completion of all valve-related projects.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in engineering, mechanics or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in valve maintenance, repair, and installation.
- Knowledge of Fisher valves and associated hardware and software.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
