In this role, one would be responsible for patching, computer information gathering, validation procedures, and providing quality documentation for customer reports. What will you be doing?

• Interpret detailed technical information included in release notes as it relates to patch/update versioning.
• Identify and manage the resolution of data quality issues including integrity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness in an efficient and timely manner.
• Execute the following aspects of the validation cycle:
• Perform backup and restores.
• Pre-patching and information gathering.
• Run hash test.
• Inspect shipment (scope limited to final package inspection).
• Execute the following aspects of PBA (Patch Binary Acquisition):
• Analyze credentials
• Package the deliverable.
• Document Exceptions.
• Analyze and report on project data.
• Assist with lab maintenance.
• Assist with documentation.
• Assist Technical Support and Engineering team upon manager’s approval.
• Assist Client Operations and Data Acquisition upon manager’s approval.

All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this opportunity:

• High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Great attention to detail
• Prior experience with Windows

The following may be used to differentiate candidates who apply for this position:

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Network+ and/or Security+ certifications
• Prior experience with Linux
• Prior experience with Vmware
• Prior experience with Hyper-V
