Are you the NEXT one?

We’re looking for a Business Development Representative who can help build STX Next’s growth strategy. Working directly with the US Managing Director and Business Development teams, you will help to achieve revenue and discovery calls targets, increased engagement with prospective clients, and market expansion in the US region.
Through ‘get-to-know-you’ calls and ongoing email correspondence, you’ll help build strong relationships with prospective clients. You will be crucial in gathering feedback to adjust our offering to your assigned markets.
STX Next is a Private, Equity-backed “Product Development as a Service” (PDaaS) company. The company’s founder managed to hit on a programming language—Python—well ahead of its time and today the company is capitalizing on this decision. Five years ago, we had 15 clients from Western Europe and the United States. Today, we have more than 60 active clients from across the globe.
Our multinational, multilingual growth and sales teams continuously outperform their targets. We have helped STX Next score high on prestigious rankings such as the Financial Times 1,000 and the Deloitte Fast 50 Central Europe and we’re eager to achieve even more recognition with your help.

Requirements

What you'll do:

One to three months

  • Learn about STX Next services and its unique value proposition.
  • Complete a comprehensive onboarding, consisting of training sessions, and prescribed readings.
  • Adopt the tools necessary to be successful: CRM, business analytics, collaboration, project management, etc.
  • Build relationships throughout the organization, including Sales, Marketing/Growth, Operations, and Product & Technology Consulting teams.
  • Capitalize on any opportunity to learn about the software development industry, and the industries of our clients.
  • Coordinate and support omnichannel outreach, including ABM activities.
  • Start scheduling introduction meetings with prospects.
  • Consistently meet both team and individual goals.

Three to twelve months

  • Qualify leads through an extensive discovery process.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
  • Overall management of the pre-sales relationship with prospects, which includes increasing engagement and identifying opportunities to sell services.
  • Plan and define activities to reach individual and team KPIs. Coordinate the implementation with the teams, including the Head of Global Expansion and Managing Director - US.
  • Introduce your own ideas for outreach and ABM activities, and execute and monitor them. That includes coordination with Digital Performance, PR and Inbound Marketing.
  • Lead business trips to visit prospective clients, and attend conferences, among others.
  • Work with the Pre-Sales team, SDMs and Sales to, whenever possible, shorten the time to take prospects to the buying window. The deals will be transferred to Sales once they are ready to buy. However, above all else, you will help prospects achieve their goals.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of both the STX Next product/services and the buyer persona’s specific needs.
  • Keep up to date on new technology trends and make recommendations to STX Next on potential new service offerings.

Twelve to eighteen months

  • Help define KPIs and strategic initiatives.
  • Work with the Head of Growth to recruit and onboard new team members.

Your success will be measured by consistently meeting or exceeding both individual and team goals. That includes the expansion of STX Next in specific markets, i.e. US.

Requirements

What you’ll bring

  • 3+ years of data-driven lead generation and sales results.
  • A goal-oriented team player mindset.
  • Prospecting and networking skills.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to take ownership of diversified projects within the US Sales Department.
  • Managing your own pipeline.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow-through/follow-up, not only in relation to prospects but also to achieving defined KPIs.
  • Experience in working with prospects and clients from the US Region.

Nice to have

  • A strong network that can be leveraged.
  • Experience in working in the IT industry.
  • Familiarity with ABM.
