AP Urgent Care is seeking a full-time Limited or full scope X-Ray Tech/Medical Assistant to support our Urgent Care in Monterey Park location.

X-Ray Technician/ MA Responsibilities:

• Triage patients- Perform in-house rapid tests, blood draw, EKG and injections - Wound Care- Splinting (Willing to train the right candidate)

• Help with surgical procedures such as laceration repairs, incision and drainage, burn treatment, etc

• Verifying patients' identity and reviewing physicians’ orders before beginning x-ray procedures.
• Handle the complete process from obtaining images, sending imaging, receiving results, and routing results to appropriate provider

• Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to ensure safety of patients and team members.
• Ensuring that the x-rays taken are of sound quality to prevent repeat procedures.
• Ensuring that the x-ray equipment is regularly serviced and in good working order.
• Maintaining an accurate record of completed x-ray procedures.

• Help coordinate outside referrals for diagnostics, treatments and specialist providers in the fulfillment of external Provider orders
• Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies and reorder.

• Must demonstrate strong teamwork skills

X-Ray Technician Requirements:

• At least 1 year experience as X-ray technician
• Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Appropriate state licensure.
• Ability to move or lift patients.

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $63,000.00 per year
