Overview

Global Supply Chain HR team responsible for providing efficiency through tools and analysis on all People practices which are aligned with and enhance our core values.

The HR Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including benefits administration, training and development, proactive employee engagement and company policies and practices. The HR Generalist will ensure clear communication, proper planning and timely action is taken to continue making URBN an employer of choice.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with on-boarding process, tracking applicant progress, conducting orientation, completing e-verify for I-9 documentation.
  • Collaborate with site leadership to develop employee engagement activities, help maintain and build company culture.
  • Assist in creating peak headcount plans, work with agencies to ensure staffing needs are meet.
  • Assist with payroll, entering vacation/personal days, tracking attendance issues. Ensure employee records are compliant, audit payroll records, validate employee and company information is accurate.
  • Communicate company policies and procedures to all employees and enforce company standards.
  • Conduct employee investigations as needed, ensure consistent application of policy, coach and mentor leadership and hourly employees on best practices.
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Human Resources work experience
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal shift hours to accommodate various employee schedules
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent in related work experience

Job Skills

  • Excellent verbal / written communication skills
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a team environment
  • Analytical, ability to track, record and report correct information
  • Strong skills in MS Excel, and Word
  • HRIS experience (ADP< Kronos, Success Factors)

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to manipulate a keyboard for extended periods of time
  • Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Lift up to 50 pounds
