Position Overview

M.Ed International Connect is looking for cohorts of Register Nurses (up to five Nurses per cohort) as part of a pool of nurses to be placed at client locations throughout the Twin Cities. These are mainly first shift positions; however, second and third shifts are available. These cohort of nurses will travel together as a cohort and remain at any given location for long-term, contracted for one-month at a time. The RNs are employed through M.Ed International AND ELIGIBLE FOR BENEFITS AS DEFINED BELOW.

Supervisor: Chief Operating Officer

Hours: 40 hours, eligible for overtime pay

Location: Twin Cities, MN

Salary Range:

  • $50/hour, benefits eligible, eligible for overtime pay
  • $52/hour, no benefits, eligible for overtime pay
  • $60/hour, 3rd Shift and weekends (Saturdays & Sundays), eligible for overtime pay

Job Responsibilities may include the following:

  • Observe and record patient behavior and communicate with physicians
  • Collaborate with physicians and other nurses to devise individualized care plans
  • Perform physical examinations and diagnostic testing (blood pressure measurements, administering injections, etc.) and updating patients’ charts
  • Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds)
  • Provide instant medical care in emergencies
  • Direct and supervise and train other LPNs, CNAs, PCAs etc.
  • Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
  • Collect patient health history
  • Counsel and educate patients and their families on treatment plans
  • Administer medication, change wound dressings and care for other treatment options
  • Read and interpret patient information, making treatment decisions when appropriate
  • Consult with supervisors and doctors to decide on the best treatment plan for patients
  • Research ways to improve healthcare processes and improve patient outcomes
  • Move, carry, push, pull, and support patients mobility

Benefits Eligible

  • Monthly Bonuses of $500.00 if you work without any call-ins or no disruptions
  • Weekends regular and on-call rate: $60.00/hour

Job Qualifications

  • An AA or BS Degree in Nursing is required
  • Must be registered as an RN through the MN Board of Nursing Registry
  • Must be CPR/First Aid certified
  • Reliable transportation
  • Passing of a background check
