Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking an Ultrasound Technologist. As the Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for producing quality, diagnostic radiographs, and ready for Radiologist interpretation. Your tasks and responsibilities include:

• You will be responsible for distribution of all dictated reports and charting, stapling, mailing, filing of return films and purging of file rooms during slow time on shift.
• You will obtain signed informed consents prior to procedure.
• You will ensure equipment maintenance needs are reported immediately to supervisor to ensure minimal down time and safety.
• You will ensure exam room is stocked with supplies and linen and prepared for patient and Radiologist prior to exam
• You will be responsible for patient privacy, comfort and safety while patient is in the procedure room.
• You will have the ability to perform routine and specialty procedures on all patients including ICU, ER, and OR.

Qualifications:

• ARDMS Registered
• Current BLS Certification
