Job Summary

• Under limited supervision, the Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for diagnostic ultrasound imaging at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical details.
• Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to produce quality images for the radiologist’s interpretation.
• The Ultrasound Technologist will demonstrate a professional approach in his/her work with emphasis on patient care, while still maintaining patient safety.

What You Need to be Successful:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an approved and accredited Ultrasound educational program required.
• RDMS certification
• Experience in vascular sonography desired.
• Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required.
