• Schedule: (Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)

_ Job Summary_
_ Summary: As a Turf and Sports Field Supervisor, you will support the Facilities Manager and/or Facilities Coordinator in providing excellent customer service in the management of Sports Fields for our clients. You will also be responsible for ensuring excellent service to on-site clients._
_ Essential Duties and Responsibilities:_
_

• Supervises Grounds staff and oversees subcontractor services to include turf management on all sports fields.
• Trains workers in grounds methods and procedures and proper operation of equipment.
• Issues supplies and equipment to workers to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
• Performs daily inspections and follows through on all assignments to ensure task completion.
• Cross trains and develops personnel for multiple positions.

Qualifications:_
_

• Either formal education of advanced industry certifications in ornamental horticulture and five years progressive experience in grounds supervision with emphasis on sport field management.
• Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership.
• Possess a thorough knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.
• Excellent communication with senior client & internal staff
• Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations.
• Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
• Experience supervising employees.
• Operate/ drive grounds related equipment & vehicles

Preferred Degrees_
_

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in horticulture, landscape management or related field and/or equivalent work experience required.

Preferred Certificates_
_

• Certified Grounds Technician, Commercial Pesticide License, or any grounds related certification.
