Junk Maven is hiring a Truck Driver to drive our Isuzu NRR dump truck. The Truck Driver is responsible for safely navigating to and from various customers, assisting the team leader in removing junk from customers' homes and businesses, and interacting with the customer. Additionally, the Truck Driver will provide a high level of customer service. This job is an excellent opportunity to develop professionally. Compensation: $19 to $21 per hour (based on experience), plus benefits
Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly and expedient customer service
• Safely operate the dump truck
• Remove, load, and sort unwanted items onto the truck to donate, recycle, and properly dispose of items
• Ensure the job order is completed as required
• Work efficiently with the team to stay on schedule
• Assist the team with disposing of all items on the truck appropriately at the end of the shift
• Maintain professional appearance
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must have reliable transportation or live within a 10-mile radius of Manassas, VA
• Have a drivers license and be cleared to drive our medium duty truck
• Ability to lift and carry 100+ lbs
• Must be dependable
• Must have strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Must have a friendly personality and enjoy working with the public
• Must be comfortable working outdoors

Working Conditions:

• While performing related duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with arms and hands
• The employee is required to walk, stand, talk or hear, handle, feel or operate objects
• The employee will occasionally be required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Exposure to pollen and dust
• Flexible work schedule including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
• The employee must be able to move and lift 100+ lbs occasionally
