Position Summary: The Truck Driver position exists to deliver finished goods to customers and other business entities using company vehicles.

Essential Functions:

• Ensures the safe and on-time delivery of goods utilizing a bob-tail or over-road truck.
• Assists in unloading and separating shipments at customer request.
• Counts and verifies items received and refused by consignee.
• Transports goods between distribution center and off site storage.
• Unloads and sweeps trailer upon return from deliveries.
• Accurately completes daily D.O.T. log and trip sheets.
• Assists in accurately and timely orders assembly when not performing truck driving responsibilities.
• Operates company trucks in a safe manner and insures the equipment used is in good working order by checking and reporting equipment problems.
• Follows all safety and traffic rules when operating a company vehicle.
• Perform daily housekeeping duties including sweeping and collecting trash.
• Follow all safety and Good Manufacturing guidelines.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Must possess a Class A “CDL” license.
• Must comply with all DOT regulationsfor licensing requirements including random drug testing
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work well with others.
• Must be able to climb stairs, bend and stoop.
• Must be able to load and unload trucks
• Some warehouse work is required
• Must be able to operate a forklift
