Job Summary
Operate a tri-axle dump truck hauling road materials for a road construction.
Main Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate tri-axle dump truck
- Operate a standard shift truck safely
- Responsible for cleaning and greasing truck
- Responsible for informing supervisor of any vital truck repairs
- Responsible to advise supervisor / management of any safety concerns
- Create and maintain a safe work environment
- Build professional relationships with work site supervisors to improve teamwork
- Responsible to participate in daily safety huddles
- Required to follow all DOT regulations and company policies
Education
- High School diploma or GED
- CDL Class B License at minimum
Skills
- Safe operation of a standard shift tri-axle truck
- Required to know DOT regulations and qualifications
Physical Requirements
- Able to safely operate a standard tri-axle dump truck
- Physical ability to stand, walk, climb in and out of the tri-axle, and perform maintenance and safety checks
- May require some lifting
- Willing to work in various weather conditions and shifts
