Job description
Responsibilities:
- Operate a hydraulic trim press to remove flash from die castings.
- Perform hand finishing.
- Visually inspect parts to ensure that they meet our quality standards and conform to print specifications.
- Sort and package parts according to written or verbal instructions and assist in adhering to the current housekeeping/cleaning schedule.
Experience and Training:
- No previous experience or post-secondary education is required.
- Employees will be trained on how to complete job tasks such as reading prints, identifying nonconformance issues, and properly operating equipment necessary for the job (deburring tools, drill press, bandsaw, sanders, all trim presses, etc.)
- Applicants must be capable of working in a hot working environment.
This position is available on first and second shift. Frist shift from 5:00am to 3:30pm on Monday through Friday. Second shift from 3:15 p.m. to 1:45 a.m. on Monday through Thursday. When offered, overtime is generally worked on Fridays. Second shift receives a $1.25 pay differential.
This position includes a signing bonus of $500 receivable in full at the completion of 6 months of employment!
