A Brief Overview

The Treasury Management Development Specialist consults with existing customers, and prospects to determine appropriate TM solutions and services. The Specialist works in partnership with a designated market to train staff on TM products and solutions, collaborate on calls, and develop sales strategy. The TM Specialist attends networking events and represents FirstBank in the business community.

What you will do

  • Consult with prospects, customers, and market staff to determine appropriate TM solutions.
  • Perform account analysis to recommend Treasury Management products and solutions for new and existing customers.
  • Prepare customer sales packets and marketing materials.
  • Lead Treasury Management client meetings.
  • Train assigned market on TM products, services, and sales strategies.
  • Facilitate product installations, setups, and trainings for business clients.
  • Maintain and cultivate sales pipeline by expanding relationship with existing customers and new commercial clients.
  • Attend networking events and represent FirstBank in the business community.
  • Assist management with the preparation of Request for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of Treasury Management products and services.
  • Understand the client’s business environment and industry.
  • Build relationships and foster collaboration with assigned market, onsite and remotely.
  • Meet established sales goals expectations.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Understand and comply with all provisions of the Safety in the Workplace policy.

Minimum Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of 2 years related experience
  • Must be fluent in English and Mandarin

Preferred Requirements

  • Business Banking experience
  • Consultative sales and financial products knowledge
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management systems such as Salesforce

  • Excellent understanding and knowledge of all TM products and solutions
  • Strong understanding of business banking, customer service, and sales strategies

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and a willingness to learn new bank systems, products, and programs

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Frequently remains stationary throughout a typical business day
  • Frequently operates a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
  • Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and other rooms
  • Occasionally positions self to access drawers and shelves of various heights
  • Frequently reaches for and handles paperwork and files
  • Constantly communicates with customers, coworkers, and management in-person and on the phone
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information

Salary Range

$25.80 Per Hour to $34.43 Per Hour
