The incumbent in this position is responsible for maintaining and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Native American Travel (NAT) Office. The individual assists travel agents with the reviews and follows up on incoming travel requests, with a special focus on group travel. Ensures maintenance of the database program; communicates with STOF departments regarding travel arrangements and supports travel agents, to ensure completion of all task in a timely manner. This position is expected to work under minimal supervision and be on call when needed. Associate’s Degree in Travel Agency, Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field is required. A minimum of three (3) years of experience working as a travel agent or working in a tourism, hospitality or similar setting in a supervisory capacity is required; or equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be considered. Prior experience using Sabre 360 is required.

· Reserve and issue airline, hotel, car and rail reservations using the Sabre Red 360 GDS system

· Issue group airline tickets using the Sabre Red 360 GDS system

· Ensure that approvals to book travel are received prior to ticketing and invoicing.

· Communicate effectively with other agents or team members to solve problems and gather information.

· Provide travel expertise to travelers and guide them to select the best itinerary within the travel policies.

Travel Agent Certification or equivalent license is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
