Job description

Responsible for Class A Truck Inspections (on-boarding Owner Operators), Review/Reconciliation of repair invoices, Fleet/Truck allocation per terminal needs, Negotiation of new rates for both truck rental and repair locations, Review and assessment of all ICOAs both current and future. This position will report to the CFO.

Responsibilities

• Assess and maintain invoicing of all repairs/claims related to Company trucks and drivers
• Coordinate with the Safety and Compliance Team to ensure that all safety and environmental audit programs are completed on time, in accordance with company policies and within cultural boundaries.
• Assist with the Safety Policy Manual and all related processes, including developing and implementing new company approved safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with vendors for repair and rental costs of trucks, including negotiations of new rates.
• Identify, develop and recommend improvement strategies utilizing data analytics and develop implementation protocols where appropriate.
• Allocation and placement of trucks currently in the fleet to each terminal as well as assessment if new/replacement trucks are needed.
• Provide analytical support and subject matter expertise for special projects and management requests
