Transportation Aide
Job description
The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing Center at Great Neck is currently hiring a Per Diem Transportation Aide. This position will primarily be transporting and helping Residents to and from their appointments.
Duties Include:
- Helping residents to and from appointments
- Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
- Transporting Residents within the Facility
- Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data
Qualifications:
- The ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Solid moral character, patience and the appropriate attitude toward the geriatric population.
- Ability and willingness to follow the direction and learn new concepts and procedures.
- Physically able to lift or move up to 35lbs without assistance.
