Job Title: Transport Driver Department: Transportation

Reports to: Transportation Manager Effective Date:

Job Summary:

Transport Driver will pick up clients and bring them to their scheduled appointments and

drop off clients to their residential after trip. You will provide assistance to clients from

the moment you pick them up them to the moment you drop them of residence.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize vehicle. Use cleaning supplies.
• Wear mask during every shift.
• Make sure client has mask on before entering vehicle.
• Assist client into and out of vehicle (if applicable)
• Driver’s are required to wait five minutes, before leaving pick-up/ drop-off if client does not show/ answer for pickup.
• Driver’s are required to call client upon arrival to pick-up/drop-off.
• Driver’s are required to attend mandatory training on safety.

Required Training:

▪ Need to be CPR certificate within 60 days of Employment.
▪ Need to be First Aid certified within 60 days of Employment.
▪ Need to take Safety courses during 60 day of Employment.
▪ Need to take transport training during 30 day of Employment.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED certificate.

At least two years related driving experience required.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up wheelchair’s and ambulance stretcher trolley’s equipment into the

vehicle.

Must be able to transport client in a wheelchair or Ambulance stretcher trolley.
