What You’ll Do

The purpose of the Operator C/T is to perform all tasks and functions necessary to ensure continued service to local and regional customers. Offload product from railcars into bulk storage building. Load product into customer trucks. Other duties will include:

• Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral-based safety
• Ensure compliance with applicable HSE performance standards, objectives, and regulations
• Understand and use all safety equipment including but not limited to PPE
• Provide transloading services to ensure customer service in an efficient and effective manner
• Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to wear, maintain and operate appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Commitment to working as part of a team
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills

What We’re Looking For:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Trade School or applicable Military Training preferred
• Two years experience in an industrial position preferred
• Ability to work weekly rotating day and night 8 hour shifts . Willingness to work overtime as required.
• Boiler, pneumatics experience desired
• Hold and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Willingness and ability to obtain a Government-issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC card)
• Ability and commitment to learn and implement Facility Safety Rules and Procedures
• Ability and commitment to learn and implement Standard Operating Procedures with a functional knowledge of facility operations
• Successful completion of training and qualification requirements and satisfactory job performance.
• Ability to understand and safely operate transloading facility equipment
• Functional skill level and experience with standard hand and portable power tools
• Ability to work under limited supervision while operating and troubleshooting abnormal conditions
• Possess functional basic computer skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
