Job Title: Transformation Business Analyst (hybrid)

Location: US-GA-Atlanta (Sandy Springs)

FLSA: Non-exempt or Exempt


Job Overview
:

Finance system and process improvements from discovery to implementation. The Analyst will play a key role in supporting Finance transformation by identifying systems and process approaches to solve business issues; identifying, understanding, and highlighting risks and dependencies for transformation projects; documenting business requirements, and participating in the configuration, testing, training, and deployment of the system solutions.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Work within the Finance Transformation team to develop new processes and implement tools focused on finance transformation in systems including GP, Blackline, etc.
  • Interact with business stakeholders to define, analyze, and document accounting business requirements, processes, and procedures with clearly delineated controls and process flows.
  • Analyze requirements, processes, and procedures to identify ERP systems solution requirements.
  • Communicate business requirements and business process design to Project Manager, development team, and other IT resources as required.
  • Work with Finance Systems to configure the ERP system to allow for the integration of platforms.
  • Collaborate with IT and Finance stakeholders to complete User Acceptance Testing and validate the technical design produces the expected results as defined in the accounting business requirements.
  • Coordinate demos, develop, and provide user training of new systems and business processes.
  • Research new opportunities and features within Dynamics GP and be able to demonstrate features
  • Assist Accounting in data reconciliation between GL and Subledger
  • Assist with Month End operations as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Expertise in business, financial and/or accounting leading practices
  • Understanding of accounting subledgers and their relationship with general ledger and data flows between the systems preferred
  • Able to actively participate in business process design sessions
  • Ability to translate business requirements to technical deliverables; Established expertise in business process and systems analysis, financial operations, general ledgers, financial controls, consolidation and reconciliation
  • Ability to effectively provide verbal and written communication
  • Ability to simplify complex ideas into easy-to-understand concepts for communications
  • Ability to analyze complex business problems, propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and direction.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check


Education / Experience:

  • 4+ Years of Dynamics GP implementation or support experience
  • Finance or Accounting background is preferred
  • Prior experience in the insurance or auto industry is a plus
  • Experience gathering business requirements and creating user stories
  • T-SQL experience a plus
  • SDLC experience preferred
