We are seeking a full-time attorney with a minimum of 4-5 years of transactional experience to support our boutique real estate law firm. This individual will have a solid knowledge of legal procedures, outstanding communication and negotiation skills and demonstrated problem-solving abilities. Having experience in the real estate industry, specifically supporting escrow is a plus. We currently have six attorneys and need a transactional attorney to join our Westlake Village office.

In this role, your duties will involve:

• Reviewing, negotiating and drafting real estate contracts, leases, management services agreements, operating agreements and partnership agreements;
• Counseling escrow companies and other clients on general governance, regulatory, licensing and some tax issues;
• Representing clients in state regulatory compliance and licensing matters;
• Drafting real estate documents for both residential and commercial real estate transactions;
• Training clients on related mitigation and risk management strategies; and
• This role does not require “Rainmaking” but is supported and encouraged.

Candidate must be ready, willing, and able to work in office at company’s Westlake Village office on a regular basis.
