In the context of GEP’s constant growth an exceptional opportunity has now arisen for a bright, driven and ambitious individual to join the team.

The role will focus on all aspects dealing with acquisitions and disposals undertaken by GEP but also include direct exposure to all other facets of the Partnership including involvement in capital transactions, including equity raises and bond issuances, financial analysis, reporting and asset management oversight. There will be regular interaction with other offices and departments throughout Europe and with the Goodman Sydney head office and therefore good interpersonal skills are a must.

Accountabilities & duties

• Drive the internal and external approval processes with regards to property transactions (acquisitions and disposals). This involves financial analysis and underwriting of projects as well as liaising with various internal and external stakeholders (local teams, legal, tax and financial advisors) in to provide a well-rounded recommendation to GEP’s Investment Committee.
• Address Investor specific queries related to GEP’s property transactions (acquisitions and disposals) through ad-hoc analysis;
• Become an expert in the markets where GEP operates in order to assist GEP’s management team in setting out and achieving its investment objectives.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations, including investor presentations, market presentations etc;
• Represent the Partnership as and when required at investor, finance and customer (tenant) meetings
• Compile and verify data for Quarterly reports, external and internal;
• Continuously assess and challenge the way we work with the focus on optimising and improving applied processes and methodologies.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

The ideal candidate will have a finance or engineering degree with a broad interest ranging from corporate finance to property management, and will have the following qualifications:

• Eager to learn and apply, and take on increasingly more responsibility;
• Strong arithmetic / analytical skills (Advanced excel is a plus);
• Good understanding of corporate finance;
• Understanding of real estate is a plus;
• Prior financial analytics / accounting experience is an asset (investment banking or property analytics);
• Excellent written and spoken knowledge of English. Dutch, French and/or German is a plus.
