Training Specialist - Software Applications | Tulsa, OK
Full-time | Direct Hire | $40k-$60k annually
Summary: The training specialist will be responsible for facilitating and delivering effective training on software applications for new hires. This person will also create training materials and present training in face-to-face and online settings. This position requires expert knowledge of Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new software programs.
Essential responsibilities:
- Facilitate monthly training sessions
- Plan and deliver trainings in a variety of formats, including face-to-face and online
- Conduct trainings as needed for new hires and subject-specific trainings
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of all software applications used by the company
- Develop training materials and standard operating procedures for software programs and their use
- Perform administrative duties for the organizational development department
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of training initiatives and professional development programs
- Compile reports from various databases and software platforms
Qualifications:
- Microsoft Certified Instructor certification strongly preferred
- Bachelor's or associate's degree in education, information management, IT, or related field
- Adult education, communication, leadership, or organizational development preferred
- Formal training or certification in training delivery is a plus
- Training experience in a workplace setting
- Experience training on Microsoft products
- Highly proficient with computer use
- Highly proficient with Microsoft and Adobe products
- Ability to understand and apply complex information
- Strong drive to learn new skills and information
- 1-3 years of administrative support experience
