Overview:
The Field Training Coordinator is responsible for the training and development of Giant Eagle SS Long Term Resets (LTR) teams and Home Store Leads, this includes all aspects and functions of the job. Play a role as a field supervisor support – communicating on issues and opportunities, including compliance checks. Communicate and monitor Acosta and Giant Eagle’s policies and procedures, including monitor in-field adherence.

Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
1. Initial and on-going training and development of LTR field personnel
2. Supervisor field support
3. Provide progress reports to Supervisors, Operation Managers, and Director
4. Compliance Audits - work completion and quality of work
5. Relationship building with store management and leadership
6. Communication of Giant Eagle’s policies & procedures
7. NARS Troubleshooting
8. Retention and career development
9. Temporarily fill open team positions
10. Distribution of equipment
11. Meeting the physical requirements – listed below
12. Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
Work Experience Requirements:
  • 3-5 years in training in a retail environment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:
  • Strong Leadership Skills
  • Well versed in reset processes& procedures
  • Complete understanding of Home Store Lead role and responsibilities
  • Highly organized
  • Good communication and relationship building skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of client/customer’s policies, procedures & expectations
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively provide hands on training
