Salary: $45,000/year

Serve as a liaison between WIOA customers and staff, training providers, community partners, and funders to provide career support in all areas related to gaining and/or retaining employment, training, and career advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide information about CareerLink services and the services of partner agencies and organizations to jobseekers.
  • Assist customers with registering and searching approved training programs on the PA CareerLink website.
  • Respond to new training inquiries and conduct interviews to ensure customers understand the training, assessment, and WIOA application process.
  • Maintain a caseload of 75-100 Title I program participants.
  • Complete eligibility determinations and individual employment plans (IEP) for individuals seeking services.
  • Provide “staff-assisted job search” services in the form of career guidance, job leads, and current labor market information.
  • Prepare, track, and submit weekly Individual Training Accounts (ITA) funding approvals.
  • Coordinate with WIOA staff and customers for final processing and distribution of ITAs.
  • Provide remote ITA services using secure platforms to ensure electronic documents are safely sent and received.
  • Ensure accurate CWDS data entry and supporting documents submitted.
  • Provide timely reports for the Team Lead and Business Services Team regarding ITAs and training outcomes.
  • Coordinate with training providers for customer attendance, Measurable Skill Gains (MSGs), and completion certificates.
  • Communicate with and track existing and potential training providers.
  • Conducts outreach for targeted populations as specific grant funding becomes available and maintains a caseload of jobseekers as needed.
  • Split time between CareerLink offices in Media and Chester City.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, education, human services or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the workforce development field
  • Experience in providing career development assistance
  • Previous case management experience
  • Must have notable experience in team-oriented environment
  • Should be able to converse with a wide range of clients and professionals while demonstrating a positive professional attitude
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Valid Driver’s License, vehicle and clean driving record required
