StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a Full Time,
Training and Development Manager, Journeyman in support of training systems development at NAWCTSD Orlando. This position supports our NAWCTSD customer on the Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) project. RRL is the Navy's approach to improving individual Sailor performance and enhancing fleet readiness by addressing the "When, How and Where" training occurs.
Essential Job Duties:
- Develop courseware and training requirements
- Develop courseware materials
- Developer training deliverables
- Courseware design
- Design Standards
- Systems Analysis and Design
- Development of acquisition related documents, SOW
- Develop and recommend alternative training strategies
- Plan production of instructional materials
- Evaluate and apply Instructional Systems Development principles (ISD)
- Interfacing with RCs from other related communities (i.e., AE, PR)
- Analysis of the AME Rating from A School through accession level C school
- Lead reviewer of AME Content Conversion LDS, SSBs, OSLs
- Analysis of stakeholder reviews to determine if requested changes are within the scope of the contract
- Maintained and communicated a holistic design vision for all three training paths by interfacing with assigned ISS during given reviews
- Maintained and communicated a working knowledge of data sets and media recommendations as well as gap LO determinations for AME
- Executed data calls within short-fused situations
- Communicates and collaborates with the ATPOC and TPOC on AME requirements

Experience Requirements:
- Candidate must have approximately 3 or more years of experience in DoD training, Navy training preferred.
- Experience working in MELD
- Working knowledge of the AME rating
- Experience working to tight turn around schedules
- Excellent communication skills
Education Requirements:
- BA or BS degree in any discipline. Master’s degree preferred.
Security Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Minimum Secret clearance required OR must be eligible to apply and be granted interim DoD interim clearance prior to employment.
